ATCO Indigenous Education Awards Program

In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge the traditional territories and homelands on which many of our ATCO operations and facilities are located. We honour and respect the diverse history, languages, ceremonies, and culture of the Indigenous Peoples who call these areas home.

Supporting Tomorrow’s Leaders

As long-standing committed partners with Indigenous communities, ATCO is proud to be supporting students from First Nation, Métis and Inuit communities in their quest for education.

ATCO recognizes the systemic barriers and different challenges Indigenous students face in their pursuit for higher education. Regardless of your field of study, ATCO’s Indigenous Education Awards Program which includes Merit, Scholarship and Bridging Awards, is designed to support students who are dedicated to their educational journey, maintaining a balanced lifestyle and being positive role models in their communities and schools.

Application Deadline is September 30, 2025.

Please note: Although ATCO would love to provide an award to every eligible applicant, submitting a completed application does not guarantee an award will be given. The Selection Committee will make the final determination on who will receive an award this fall; preference will be given to students from Indigenous communities where ATCO has business operations and interests. Applicants selected to receive an award will be provided additional instructions on next steps. Those who are not selected for an award will receive a "Decline" email.
